Wiesennock is a small studio apartment on the ground floor. It offers everything for the perfect vacation for two. It has a double bed, a kitchenette with extendable dining table and a spacious bathroom.

Bachmühle is a ground-floor vacation apartment with 2 bedrooms in Nockalm Cottage and the ideal accommodation for a vacation alone, as a couple or as a family with older children. It consists of one bedroom with double bed and fully equipped kitchen-living room. The maximum occupancy is 5 persons.

Long-term stays and digital nomading at Nockalm Cottage

The Nockalm Cottage is not only a vacation accommodation, but also offers all the necessary equipment for pleasant long-term stays in the home office. The house has a stable 300 MBit fiber connection, a network printer and in the larger apartments there is also a workstation with desk. In the months of September-December and March-July we offer very attractive long-term rates.

The Nockalm Cottage is located in a beautiful secluded location at the entrance of St. Oswald. The gondola, ski slopes, ski school, mountain bike rental, grocery store and various restaurants can be reached on foot. The gondola Brunnach is 500m away, back you go with the skis almost to the house. Shopping facilities in the minimarket are in the village and supermarkets in Bad Kleinkirchhei 5km away.

A total of 24 lifts, 103 kilometers of slopes and the longest runs in Carinthia - this is the huge and sunny ski area of the Nockberge mountains. In the meantime, the region has also developed into a very interesting mountain bike resort, with hundreds of kilometers of legalized trails for riders of all skill levels, which scores points especially for its family-friendliness. The centerpiece is the absolutely successful Flow Country Trail in Bad Kleinkirchheim, which offers 15km of super flowing downhill fun for the whole family, with the ascent being made comfortably by gondola lift and huts along the way inviting you to take a break. The Nockberge mountains are also an extremely popular hiking area with a uniquely diverse vegetation that thrives here on a very special combination of limestone and primary rock. Many huts invite you to stop and enjoy the legendary homemade Kaiserschmarren and culinary alpine specialties of the region.

In addition to perfectly groomed and wide pistes, a snow park provides plenty of action and offers professionals and those who want to become professionals a top-class freestyle experience. All those who want to learn or improve their skiing and snowboarding skills will find individually tailored offers at the ski school in the immediate vicinity of the Nockalm Cottage.

The mountain world around Bad Kleinkirchheim offers ideal conditions for snowshoe hikes due to its gentle topography. The Nockberge mountains, with their gently rolling mountain ranges, also inspire snowshoe hiking beginners. Numerous routes in front of a fantastic winter scenery are waiting to be discovered, one of the most beautiful starts from the Nockalm Cottage with the gondola Brunnach on a romantic snowy path on the back of the Nockberge towards Brunnachgatter. Numerous huts and alpine pastures invite you to warm up by the fireplace with punch and hearty Carinthian delicacies.

Already in Roman times the hot springs with thermal water were discovered in Bad Kleinkirchheim and more than 500 years ago the first thermal bath below the chapel of St. Kathrein in Bad Kleinkirchheim was mentioned historically for the first time. Today, Bad Kleinkirchheim with its two thermal baths fed by natural hot springs is Carinthia's most important thermal resort. While the architecturally legendary Römerbad boasts a state-of-the-art, gigantic sauna landscape, the Therme St. Kathrein has an 86m-long water slide and, at 1200m2, the largest thermal pool in Carinthia.
